I spent pretty much all day today working on the site. Upgrading to the latest version of WordPress, getting it working correctly, adding plugins, and a total redesign. Just like the old days.

And if that wasn’t enough, I’ve spent the last hour or so retroactively adding tags to my oldest posts. And now I’m forced to stop because my left wrist is KILLING me. Argh.

Anyways, hope the work is appreciated, and any comments are welcomed.

I’d also really like to exchange links with any interested parties. Preferably those with similar sites (content, traffic, the whole shebang). I noticed today that a lot of my old ‘link pals’ have moved on or died off. Their sites, not themselves.

I couldn’t resist. After Alex King’s theme contest, there were so many juicy themes to choose from, I had to update my site. Expect a few rough patches in the days to follow as I tweak.

The Trouble With The Site

Looking through the entries for Alex King’s themes competition, I see so many good themes, or starting points for something that could turn out really great. But since I added the forums, I really don’t want to just screw around with the theme, because it will mean a lot of extra work. So until I find something I simply can’t resist, I’ll stick with this. Kind of interesting, how adding the forums has slowed the theme-changing pace I use to have. I guess it’s a good thing.

Been Busy

I go to class, I do classwork, I have club meetings. I just really haven’t had a whole lot of time to put towards the old blog. But as fate would have it, I’m going to be writing some good political stuff in the next few weeks, that I’ll be sure to slap on here.

I also want to look at a redesign too. This is a bit too dark for my liking. Maybe I’ll go lighter, and red. I don’t use red enough around here.

BjÃ¶rk Re-Design

I got the urge to re-design, and I decided to do it with my vision of beauty – BjÃ¶rk.

I want to do a bit more editing sometime soon, but yes.

Also, I’m trying to think of a new name for the site, just in case I do go ahead and get my own domain. Any thoughts out there? So far the best I’ve thought of, is ‘intellectual smut.’ But.. Yeah. I sort of wanted something short, and techie.. So.. whatever comes to mind, comment!
