Since the last update, surprisingly little has happened, in my life and in the world. My passport finally arrived. So did my new license. My 21st birthday came and went, bought some tequila and ate some cheesecake. The operation on my wrist went well enough. Been playing a helluva lot Sims 2 since it arrived last Tuesday. Had a drug test; apparently I’ve lined up a job for the remainder of the summer.

I need to buy plane tickets. And… Then I’ll be on my way.

There’s been a few good CDs I’ve been listening to continuously. The new NIN, Weezer, Beck, White Stripes. It’s been a good summer music-wise.

At the moment I’m copying all necessary files off of my old computer, putting them onto CD-Rs. This is an incredible pain in my ass, but it’s a last-ditch effort to save them. I tried booting up the old PC tonight, and it freezes up as XP loads. Safe mode, nada. Eventually I had to hook up the hard drive to another PC we have, which doesn’t have a firewire port (which would of made transfering files a lot easier (understatement)). Then I couldn’t find my USB drive, although that would have taken even longer since it’s only a 128MB. So I’m reduced to using CD-Rs. I think I’m burning my 10th as I write this. Might run out.
