So this past weekend while watching Tina Fey do an absolutely amazing Sarah Palin on SNL, I learn that Wasilla is the meth capital of Alaska. Today, while perusing FiveThiryEight.com, I learn that while Palin was mayor of the town, rape victims were required to pay for their own forsenic tests. A practice only in place in Wasilla, and which was subsequently banned statewide.

Nice place. Just don’t get raped, and avoid the exploding trailers.
