So it’s the first week of The Price is Right with Drew Carey. I’ve watched a bit. And I’m not too sure. I like Drew, sure (Who’s Line is it Anyway anyone?).
But it’s weird without Bob. Ol’ Bob. I’m sure Drew will grow into the role. In time. Hey, he’s telling America to get spayed and neutered. And isn’t that really the central issue?
It seems to me as if the audience is younger too. Less of the blue hair crowd, more of a middle-age not-terribly-hip-but-likes-Drew-Carey sort of crowd.
They tried to give away a Dodge Viper today too. The contestant bungled it. Jeez.

oooo, I missed Drew’s first day… or not; doesn’t sound like I missed much.
I was more upset over him being there; he’s an outspoken conservative (probably due to his military roots?) and is generally been a jerk lately. He was a lot better than Clive Anderson (typical Brit) on Whose Line, but Bob has been apart of tPiR for such a long time that it seems like an unholy union.
I think the 50+ crowd, for the most part, have stopped caring about the show. I know that my Dad, his sister, and myself wanted to go but we never did (even though his sister lives in Cali, only an hour or two away from the studios where they film). I don’t wanna go now at this point; it’s just not the same without Bob, and I haven’t even SEEN it yet. Bob was the reason you watch the show. Bob is a crispy, studly, odd old guy who held that flimsy show together. Who gives a SHIT about plinko? Stupid dumb prizes/advertisements? Nobody!!!!
My aunt and uncle went once. Never got to contestants row. *sniff*
You know what, the contestants didn’t deserve a Viper anyways. I mean, any normal person would destroy the car after pressing the accelerator pedal.
They should be giving out Honda’s because every time a new Honda is driven home the earth gets a bit more greener.
