By doing so, I realized how much work I'd have to put in myself to get it all done and I'm too lazy for that. :-) Modifications are less stressful to accomplish. I'm already liking it. And modifying the templates is a piece of cake - just a bit of css and php knowledge is enough (I knew neither before beginning to hack away at WP). And, finally, there are <em>alot</em> of good templates already out there, that only need a tiny bit of tweaking. Try it, it's definitely worth it.
