I couldn’t have picked a better time to get my own server and domain than now. What are the chances that WordPress 1.5 would come out the day after? I’m truly blessed.
I’ll be keeping this bad boy back on 1.2, while I installed and finangle 1.5 onto my new server.

Thanks for the download link. Been wanting to have my own blog page without feeling like I’m restricted to a limited variety of template modifications. Not sure if WordPress can pull off what I would need. Got a lot of tweaking to do.

Ovalshine, I’ve been using WordPress for a year now (wait, I just wrote this in a previous post, didn’t I?) and this latest version is amazing for quickly and easily adding, switching and editing templates.
1.5 allows you to have multiple templates installed, easily changed. And modifying the templates is a piece of cake – just a bit of css and php knowledge is enough (I knew neither before beginning to hack away at WP). And, finally, there are alot of good templates already out there, that only need a tiny bit of tweaking.
Try it, it’s definitely worth it. Dunno if you’ll ever see this though.

I was already there and installed to my server. By doing so, I realized how much work I’d have to put in myself to get it all done and I’m too lazy for that.
Modifications are less stressful to accomplish. I’m already liking it. Just need to learn more on it to get it where I need to have it.
