Site Updates

I went ahead and bought my own domain and webhost.

Illusionfxnet only costs $25 a year. The domain was $9.25/yr from the same company. Expect to move on to whitemaleconsumer.com soon. For the moment, I’ll keep all activity here, while I finetune everything over there.

Word on the street is that WordPress 1.5 is due out soon. Hopefully tomorrow, in fact. If I can, I’ll hold off on switching over to the new domain until it is released, keeping things all nice and tidy over there.

I’d like to take the time to thank my host during the first year of white male consumer. Bakshi is a real pal. If it wasn’t for him, I probably wouldn’t still be blogging. I had a blogger account for a month or so before he offered to put me on a WordPress, and I would have likely become bored by blogging by now, if I was stuck with one of those vanilla, fly-by-night blogs. The number of blogs created everyday is mind-blowing, but the number abandoned is just as surprising.
