Right now, still using Cyberduck. If everyone else thinks that it's the best free ftp proggy out there, then who am I to argue? Next time I use it, I'm going to look around and try to change the timeout time or something, because it kept timing out.

Mac is alright. I just ordered the 12" PowerBook. There's a $150 rebate floating around, that expires by June 7th. Figured it was the cheapest I would find it. Sims 2 still isn't out on Mac, comes out the 13th. Pre-ordered.

Right now, I'm still just trying to get use to the OS. Or perhaps, just trying to find the software that I need. It's been working fine. But there's quite a difference between using a Mac in a computer lab for 20 or 30 minutes here and there, and using one round the clock.

What FTP program did you finally settle with?

As far as Safari & NG, What can I say? It's a site designed to work for IE. have you ever run any NG page through the w3c html validator? It's nuts! Safari is aimed at being completely standards-compliant, and IE is aimed at preserving the M$ marketshare.

If you look at the source, it's still a table-based layout! No browser except IE needs tables to create a stable layout.

Look at the source for this site. No tables. NONE.

And yes... I have been out of sight a lot lately, but meh... real life happens.

How is the Mac so far?

Ha. You're maintaining a low presence online lately, but if anyone badmouths a Mac anywhere.. Reading the post over, I used the word Saab way too much.

Bah, I'm sure this thing could handle something simple, like The Sims 2. After I finish this rom I'm working through, I'll find a time-waster. Finally got a friggin FTP program to work. And NG is really messed up in Safari.

Still working on the NG skin? I'm going to install it pretty soon. Missed another deposit. Err.

O games? Liar.

It's not like you'd be able to run any good games on that Mac, anyway. I'm happy for you, I'm glad you got your Mac, but it's just silly to assume that a micro would runs any good games, it doesn't matter if it's a PC or Mac, micros are mostly about the form factor, not power computing.
