Just a quick note to say that I’m back in the US. I still need to write about a bunch of things, mainly Brussels and Amsterdam. And probably a holistic look back at the semester abroad. But for now, I’m not going to be too active, since I’m home, on dial-up, and have better stuff to do.

19|Dec|2005 2Holy crap were customs a PITA!
I seriously was in disbelief when, on the plane, they said EVERYONE had to fill out a form. I only had one form — everyone else had two! Christ sakes, declare everything I was bringing back? Even the clothes I bought at a used clothing stores? PFFF.
I declared the bottle of wine I was bringing back. Everything else they had no way of knowing. Sheesh. Every other country I just walked through the ‘nothing to declare’ exit.

20|Dec|2005 3It’s terrible what we have to go though these days just because 9/11.
Did you just buy a 2000 Honda Accord? How come no photos on flickr?
Zeke
20|Dec|2005 49/11 has nothing to do with customs, Bakshi. Don’t be thick. My grandfather gave me the Accord, you need to keep better track in the reg. lounge
I wouldn’t buy a fugging Honda! no pix? Because it’s dirty, and it’s cold out, so I’m not going to clean it anytime soon.

21|Dec|2005 6Customs doesn’t exist. You know it’s a bunch of lies set up by liberals to make people not want to bring back their 24K gold umbrella stands from their private home in the British Virgin Islands.
