Too Many ‘Personal’ Posts.

So here’s another…

Hate to be the stereotypical blogger, but as I sit here, munching on fritos and grillers, sipping on vanilla coca-cola, I feel the need to recount my weekend.

Beginning on Friday. Friday was a very quiet day. Went to my one class. Sent a package to the folks. Checked the mail. And then just generally lounged in my room, window wide open, enjoying the nice weather.

Saturday was no different. It was very foggy! Wish I had had film for my camera – maybe there would of been some cool shots of something. But I didn’t so I slept in, quite late. Laid in my bed. Used a pay phone acouple times trying to get a ride to a party.

Pay phones suck and are enormously expensive. Just because everyone and their grandmother has a cellphone, now the few poor SOBs have to pay a buck for a single call? What’s with that?

Regardless, Saturday night I walked down to the Gardens for my ride to the festivities, smoking alittle something in advance. Suitably high by the time the ride got there. We went to this really shady little house about two miles off-campus.

Had a good time. Saw some people I hadn’t seen for awhile. Met some new people. Made fun of people who started dancing as the night progressed. Good stuff. Good stuff.

Oh, one fun moment when the cops supposedly arrived(?) In retrospect, no one seemed to know if they did make an appearence or not. False alarm? Likely.

Got back at 3AM. Promptly fell asleep for a good twelve hours.

No hurlage = Feeling great the next day.

And I feel great. The weather was even nicer today than it was on Friday. Beautiful. I read some. Cooked some red beans and rice. I’ve been cooking a lot lately – I have a lot of food stored up, and it’s so much more convenient than eating at the dining hall. Oh, although this one couple who always seem to eat at the same time as me, were at the party. They look cool, interesting, whatever.

All in all – in high spirits after the inebriated socializing! But I must do some work now. Err.
