The Life Update

It’s been awhile – an eternity as far as this blog goes – so I figured that I would update with a few mindnumbing comments and insights into the past few days of my life. Sorry.

Got a few grades in the past week. An A on a lengthy (25-page) writing booklet for Personal Essay. I got a B on a portfolio in the same class, as well as an essay for my Understanding Islam class. Overall I’ve apparently gotten a 3.00 gpa for the midterm. Which sucks, but isn’t drastically lower than last year or anything – last fall and spring semester I received 3.00 and 3.44, respectively. It will mostly likely go up a bit between now and the end of the semester, regardless.

I’ve been tabling for Students for a Just Peace all week now, it’s tiring. Next week Amnesty International tables. We got a few members at the last meeting.

In the mock election held on campus today, I voted for David Cobb. I probably should of wrote him in on my actual absentee ballot, but ah well.

My new coat is in the mail. Should get here by Friday or Saturday. And I’ve been wearing my new hat. I guess they’re called “driver” hats, or some such nonsense. But it’s choice.

Been eating a lot of peanut butter and jelly. More than I’ve ever eaten before, probably. I fear that I’ll run out of the peanut butter before the jelly, however, so I’ve been conserving it for the past week.

I’ve got class at four, but I’m going to lay down for a bit before going. So I’ll end. Hopefully I’ll have something more interesting to write at a later date. ;-)
