New Times At WMC

So Bakshi got me addicted to the nerdiest game the other day – BlogShares.

It’s a financial simulation where you trade blog stock.

So I started playing, and quickly racked up almost 5 million dollars.

And then my golden stock crashed… Argh!

Anyways – how this relates to WMC (White Male Consumer, if your slow on the uptake). The way the game works is – more incoming and outgoing links to/from other blogs in the game, the more your blog is worth. Currently, I’m fairly happy with the traffic I’m getting. But hardly any of it is from other blogs. So I’ve been joining weblog pools, link exchanges, blog searches, etc., etc.

But don’t worry, infidels! The only real change is a growing amount of buttons and links on the menu to the right.

I promise to write a really great post about something interesting and more political sometime soon. Lately I’ve just been ferreting news articles out without really commenting on them. This will be remedied.
