Hmm…

Today has been strange. I got a good amount of sleep, went to class. I wrote the absolutely worst poetry ever for Intro. to Creative Writing last night, but some of the stuff that other people read was really great. I went to pick up a package, and it turned out to be just an envelope, and they wanted me to pay 23 cents. The post office doesn’t take IDExpress, so I was about to hand over a ten dollar bill to pay, when the kid next to me says he has the money. So that was great – made my day brighter. Strange how little dumb things like that can pick you up.

Oh, so anyways – the letter was an Easter card from my grandparents back home. Pretty out of the blue. It had a $10 check, “to get a rabbit with.” A chocalate Easter rabbit. That brightened my day a bit more.

Had lunch, came back here.

I need to study for a test I have in half an hour. I figure I’ll have a good ten minutes of study time if I hurry up this post.

Less than a month until the end of classes. I have a large paper due in four of my classes, presentations, revisions, etc.

I haven’t done any of the reading for one of my politics classes.

I can’t wait to get home. To fix my car up. To drive again. But I think I’m already looking forward to next year here at Ithaca.. I’m not sure.

I’m fully realizing now how few friends I have back home. I’m as close to the people that I’ve met here, in the span of two semesters, as anyone back in Greenwich whom I grew up with.

I can’t wait to go abroad.

Oh, someone I haven’t seen at all this semester might be throwing a party, it will be great to see her again. Hmm. Meh..
