The concept of Freecycling is simple: you have something you no longer need (a couch, a crib, a CD, a computer) and you wish to “recycle” it rather than throw it in the landfill. Or you’re looking for a specific item (a couch, a crib, a CD, a computer), and you’d love getting it for free. The Ithaca Freecycle Network is the place you can post notices about items you’d like to give away and find things that you need. The only requirement is that the transfer of an item from one person to another has to be FREE.
This is a dream come true. Free stuff! I’ve been looking through it for about twenty minutes now. I already e-mailed one person about a microwave. (Already got a reply too – someone else has dibs, but if they don’t pick it up…)
A big thank you to Happily Stuck in Ithaca for bringing it to my attention. He also got put on to my list of links today, after I noticed he had linked to me. For some odd reason, I have this compulsion of linking to people only after they’ve linked to me. It’s me trying not to be needy or something over the internet. :pipe:

I wouldn’t have taken offense, as in real life… some relationships are just one-sided.
